Play “Pin the Verse on the Volunteer”. Trust me, this sounds more painful than it is! Either print out the whole verses or just the references and put a loop of masking tape at the end of each slip of paper. Have kids read the verse aloud. Their task is then to tape the verse to the part of the body that the verse references. For some reason, kids find this to be hilarious. For each verse, talk briefly about the way the verse describes that we can worship. After reading all of the verses, point out to the kids that the volunteer is covered from head to toe. God calls us to worship Him with all that we are.
My mouth will praise you with joyful lips. Psalm 63:5
Hear the word of the LORD! Jeremiah 22:29
O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy. Psalm 47:1
Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:6
Praise him with tambourine and dance. Psalm 150:4
Lift up your hands to the sanctuary And bless the LORD. Psalm 134:2
If there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8
